When I was younger we used to joke about old advertisement for the armed services that went along the lines of “Join the army. Travel the world. Meet interesting people. And kill them.”
There are basically two types of advertisement for the armed services. One emphasises the travel, adventure and glamour. The other pushes the risk and dangers and challenges you with “are you tough enough?” These days the Royal Marines Commando pushes the latter. In the 70s and 80s it was all about glamour and palm trees.
I was speaking with my friend Sarah last week and she was laying out her plans for the next few months… Marbella, London, Barcelona, Madrid. Then off to Milan, Rome, Bari and Palermo: Then Marbella and London one last time before she goes back to Ibiza for the summer season. All of that travel 5 star, staying in the best hotels, eating at the finest restaurants and with a lot of extravagant shopping and sight-seeing thrown in.
Best of all, her travel, hotels, meals and shopping are very often paid for her by clients. Luxury all the way, anywhere she wants.
And all that from her work as a professional escort.
She really loves her work. She is her own boss, works when she likes and comes and goes as she wishes. If you don´t count working out as work (as a former ballerina, she doesn’t) she manages all this on a maximum of 20 hours work a week. Normally a lot less.
That´s what happens when you work a a high class escort at the top of your game. I see a lot of Sarah when she is with me as a Marbella escort. She is charming, clever and as at ease with herself as anyone I have ever met.
So much for the cliche of the strung out hooker! Maybe I should run an advert; “Join the escorts. Travel the world. Meet interesting people. And shag them.”
